Peaceworks is a new peace movement bringing people from all over the world together for a single purpose…to turn every church into a peace church.
Imagine how different the world would be if every Christian actually followed the peace teachings of Jesus. No fear. No anger. No hate. No revenge. Just living the way that Jesus intended for us to live. There’s no question that people in the early church were much happier and more peaceful than we are today, but thanks to 2,000 years of theology, things have gotten pretty messed up. The Christian “religion” is hoping that you won’t figure it all out, but it can’t be covered up any longer. Everything must change, and everything will change, but it needs to begin with you! Allow yourself to be transformed by the counter-cultural master of peace, joy and love…Jesus Christ.
It’s all leading up to September 2013
We start today and shift into top gear with the launch of the Peaceworks video series in September 2013. Everything’s free – including notes, quotes and discussion questions for all twelve 30 minute episodes. Great music, “word on the street” interviews and some of today’s most engaging speakers will inspire you and give you the tools you need to make a difference in your life and the world. We’re really excited about the people who are already on board including Tony Campolo, Bruxy Cavey, Shane Claiborne, Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove, Janell Anema, Christa Hesselink, Tom Fenske and Greg Boyd…and there’ll be more amazing speakers joining us soon!
